How to install EPSON TX series scanner / printer driver in Linux

How to install EPSON TX series scanner / printer driver in Linux Video Clips. Duration : 6.37 Mins.

****How to get EPSON Stylus (in my caseTX117) scanner working? It was hard time trying to get my epson scanner to work 'cause no driver comes with my Ubuntu 10.04. So with a help of ubuntu forums and some research i figured out how to do it in couple of moments. Here it is! First, about the printer. It works with TX110 drivers, so when u first plug in the printer and the driver search menu pops up, and than says "didn't find driver for epson tx117", choose driver manually by selecting EPSON and then TX110. SCANNER!!!!!!!! Go to avasys.jp , choose English, scroll down and locate your printer/scanner model (im my case it is TX117) but you have to choose your own model), mark the desired model and scroll down, choose your distro, release and a couple of other options and click Next. In the webpage that opens scroll down and locate SCANNER DRIVER. Find the .deb package "iscan-data_1.0.1-1_all.deb", download and open with GDEbi installer, click on install. Now scroll a little bit down and find DEB 32bit package [libltdl7] (for Ubuntu 8.10 or later) "iscan_2.25.0-1.ltdl7_i386.deb", download and install with the same instructions as before. Reboot. In the Applications -Graphics you will find the Linux Image Scan. Volila!!!!!!!
